The bride Michelle is a person who knows the value of a coordinator, since she has professionally planned events for a company through previous employment. Even though on a tight wedding budget, she wanted to entrust someone else to make sure the details
were happening so she could enjoy herself. And that she did.
A great family, on both sides, it was a truly beautiful ceremony at St. Rupert’s in Newburgh, Indiana. This church was small and intimate, a perfect country setting for these wedding guests.
The reception at Scales Lake was fun and light-hearted which reflected the couple’s personality. Using fall colors, the reception tables had chocolate, terra cotta and mustard yellow cloth linens with glass vases and floating flowers and votives.
Highlights of the day: When Michelle’s very young niece refused to walk down the aisle just before the ceremony; I changed her diapers and babysat her during the vows. Who says life as a wedding planner isn’t glamorous? At the reception; the casual bride/groom and wedding party changed
into jeans and custom baseball jerseys with Team Loughrie imprinted on the front. In case you didn’t know….you pronounce their last name Loughrie like Lock-rey!! And finally, the groom’s father took a picutre of all the guests and vendors to say HI! to their cousin who is stationed in Iraq and couldn’t be here for the festivities.
